Refer a Friend Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions were last updated in October 2025.
1) The promoter (“House of Social”) is offering a monetary award to reward you for referring others student who books with us for the 2026/27 academic year (the “Referral Scheme”).
2) You will be able to enter the Referral Scheme between 0.00am on 5th November 2025 and 11:59pm on 30th September 2026.
3) The award for the Referral Scheme will be a monetary cashback reward (“Cashback”), with the Cashback amount being determined by the number of other students referred as set out below:
a) When you refer a friend, you create a booking group consisting of two people where you both will receive £200 Cashback;
b) When one of you refers another friend, the booking group would now consist of three people, where each of you will receive £300 Cashback;
c) When one of you refers another friend, the booking group would now consist of four people, where each of you will receive £400 Cashback;
d) When one of you refers another friend, the booking group would now consist of five people, where each of you will receive £500 Cashback; and
e) When one of you refers another friend, the booking group would now consist of six people, where each of your will receive £600 Cashback.
4) Please be aware of the following Cashback clarifications:
a) The Cashback amounts are increased incrementally by £100 for each additional friend added up to and including a maximum group size of 6 people.
b) The Cashback is increased when each friend is added. It is not additive, meaning that the maximum total Cashback available when the group size reaches 6 people is £600 for each person within that group.
c) Should a booked person in the group cancel at any point before 11:59pm on 1st November 2026 (“Cashback Eligibility Date”), the Cashback payable to that group will reduce by £100 for each person that cancels. As an example, in a group of 5 people receiving £500 Cashback. Should a booked person cancel, this would reduce to the group to 4 people, meaning those 4 people will each receive £400 Cashback.
d) If someone within a maximum group size of six people wants to continue referring other friends, this is possible, and for each new referral there would be a £100 cashback payable to both the friend and referral. The referral however would not be included into the previous group and would therefore need to start referring friends to their own group in order to increase their cashback as per section 3.
