Your new life is about to begin and it’s time to get ready. Before your first day in the building, there are a few things you need to have sorted. You’ll need to complete all of these to ensure you’re set for your move-in day. This blog is going to give you all the information you need to move into your House of Social accommodation and give you a sneak peek of all the exciting things to expect during your stay.

Make Your Payment

Firstly, you will need to complete your payment via your account, using our secure payment portal TransferMate. Once you have completed your payment, you can then check-in online. It’s really easy to do. Just log into your account, and follow the steps to check-in.

Move-In Preparations

1. Book your move-in week to let us know when you plan to arrive.
2. Let us know your move-in day so we can ensure you have a smooth arrival.
3. Complete your online check-in form.

Your Final Checklist

Contents Insurance

Contents insurance is included in your rent through our insurance partner Howden. Before you arrive you must remember to activate your insurance. To do this, simply download the Howden app and confirm your cover. You may have some higher-value items that aren’t included in your policy – so it’s important to check as you may need some additional cover. When you download the app, you can check what’s included and see if you need to do anything else. It takes less than five minutes to confirm your insurance.
