The cutting-edge development combines stylish student living spaces with a vibrant food hall that will be a home in the city where everyone is welcome.

What is House of Social?

Whether you’re in the mood for a delicious breakfast treat or a late-night pizza, HoS has got you covered featuring five independent kitchens and house bar over 14,000 sq feet in the heart of First Street. Food will be served 6 days a week from morning through ’til night so you can drop in to pick up a quick snack or linger for hours while you work or meet with friends. Upstairs we have 112 student houses designed just a little differently, you’ll find a mix of 2, 5, or 6 bed options tailored for sharing. Each house is designed to offer equal space for everyone, ensuring that no one feels short-changed.

First Street is a neighbourhood with everything going on and House of Social will nestle in at the heart of this destination district on Coleman Street just opposite James Grigor Square. Offering an impossible -to-resist stop-in that feels like home for those working at Amaze, Ford and Autotrader or those already coming to visit Home, Gasworks, Hakkapo and Bunny Jacksons.

Dining at Your Fingertips

Ordering food is a breeze at HoS with our QR code system. All you need to do is just scan, browse the menu, and order straight from your phone. Our team will make sure your meal and drinks are served straight to your table. For those special occasions or when you need a bit of peace and quiet, our mezzanine level has private dining areas you can book—ideal for celebrations, meetings or just a bit of headspace.
